Excel 2007 : Data Retrieve Using The Date From Master Sheet

Dear All,

Find the attached excel document.

I have two different sheets
1. Master Data
2. Details

Daily updations will be carried out in the Master Excel Data.

Here is my Question:

1. In Detail Sheet If I type Month & Year at the page top
2. Below that details of the Employees travelling on the Above mentioned month should appear by calling the data from Master Sheet.
3. So that the daily updations will be retreive by using the Data Refresh option.

Kindly clear this Issue. Need It Urgently................

I think that you are asking for the following functionality in your workbook.

On the "Details" sheet,

1. You want to enter a Month-Year and have matching records from the "Master Data" sheet populate the space on the "Details" sheet.
2. Then you want to make changes to these records on the "Details" sheet.
3. Then you want all of the changes made on the "Details" sheet to be saved back to the "Master Data" sheet.

Is this correct?

Only I Require These Two Steps

What Ever Changes Made on the "Details" Sheet Should Not Effect The "Master Data" Sheet.
