Populate Number based on range

In the attached sheet I want to take the value from column A find the the range it lands between in column C. Than take the number in column D(beside the range) and populate in column B.

Copying a value from one cell to another is simple.

If you want the value in cell D2 to appear in cell B2, then in cell B2 you enter the formula =D2

The sample document looks like you are dealing with histograms. Search Excel's help on histogram. It should help.

My take on this is different from Dennis7849. I think you need to adjust your lookup table and use Vlookup. See attachment.
