    Extract and Post Data

    I need to either autofilter or pivottable a large data base which is recapped on the cover sheet. One enters the criteria to be extracted and the detail is displayed. Please Help.
    I have a sample spreadsheet attached.

    could you add your desired end result and highlight that section? im not sure what parts you want autocalculated and what is flat data.

    DGagnon: The formula should read the database (Green) and display it on the coversheet (yellow)

    have a look at this sheet, i think this will do what you are looking for. it is using a helper column to find matches, then vlookup to pull down the details of that match.

    Is your issue resolved? If your problem is solved, please say so clearly, and mark your thread as Solved: Click the Edit button on your first post in the thread, Click Go Advanced, select [SOLVED] from the Prefix dropdown, then click Save Changes. If more than two days have elapsed, the Edit button will not appear -- ask a moderator to mark it.
