Use Conditional Formatting to identify a field that CONTAINS a specific character

How would I set Conditional Formatting (in Excel 2007) to identify a cell that contains a specific character (for example "*")?

    Hi,

    =A1="*"

and apply it to the range you want, e.g. $A$1:$Z$100
