Dear Excel users,
is it possible to get excel to convert the number of minutes in a day to the time.
I.e 60 minutes would equal 01:00 where as 725 minutes would equal 12:05?

725/1440 then format the cell to hh:mm.
Just =A1/1440 and formatted as time.

Attached is an example workbook based on the criteria you described. In cell B2 and copied down is this formula:
=A2/1440
The column B result cells are then formatted as Time. The formula works because there are 1440 minutes in a day.
