How do I sort linked data by name in a Spreadsheet?

I am putting together football stats for a flag football league. I would like to create a table that will show the league leaders in a series of stat categories. (i.e. Rushing, receiving, passing.) I want the league table to automatically update as I enter the stats into individual team workbooks.

I have two workbooks. "Team 1 Stats," and "League Leaders"

I want to sort the names in the left hand column in "league leaders" by the person with the best stats in descending order.

How do I do this?
