Data Sheet - Date auto population

    Hey guys

Working on a template for my boss.

He wants to have a drop-down menu for the months of the year (data validation, already did this part) but based on that month, he wants the Day and number of the week to autopopulate down a column underneath it.

    Example

    I choose January on a drop-down list

Then the rest of the column underneath adjusts for The day of the week and the number of the month etc.

    Thanks
    Pete

would you be selecting a day number as well? by just selecting January you would not be able to get a Day of the Week.

I guess you can say that

I want to pick a month

And the cells below auto-populate with the day of the week and the number of that day, it can be in one joint cell or two, im guessing one is more likely to occur

Ok Here is an example of the generic section of the template (cant really put any other detail, confidential etc, you know big deal stuff haha)

Yellow is where the drop down where the month would be chosen

and in the blue is where id like the auto population to take place in that format or something similar

my 2nd idea is on Tab 2 which is cleverly labeled 2nd Idea.

If i can choose a month on the drop down and that list pull and fill below, ill be fine with that too

    Thanks
    Pete
