Filtered data pasting - visible cells only

Hi there!
Can you please help me to understand when this kind of situation is possible - colleagues keep telling me that sometimes they filter out the data in their file and then when trying to copy and paste they get the inbetween filtered data as well (I know how to solve so that this would not happen) but apparently cannot artifically create such a situation in order to explain how this is possible, can you please help - how can i get to this error.

If data is filtered then using copy & paste will only copy the visible cells
