Formatting text with required alphabets/numbers/symbols

Hi,

I have a cell mix of alpha-numeric numbers.

e.g. A1,923gstr'~&Amit

Now if I want the text must only contain alphabets and must automatically delete the numbers, symbols and special text, I do it all manually.

Similarly, another example - A000456[yt]9tds where in If i want the numerical values only, and I use test to columns option, It will not include zeros 000456

Please help in getting the work done in simple clicks.

Pls seeking expert advice.
