Defining the vertical axis of a chart with a formula

Hello, is it possible to define the range shown in the vertical axis of a line chart with a formula containing either a direct reference to a cell, or by using a named range? VBA is not an option for this exercise.

    Thanks!

Can you post a sample workbook? Define the vertical axis by a set of numbers. So if you can get a formula to produce an array of numbers it should work.

Here is a sample workbook. I want the upper limit of the vertical axis to be the value in cell e7 and the lower limit to be value in cell e8. I need them to change as the values in those cells change.

I have changed it for your needs but I don't think you can do it dynamically. All you do is right click format axis then you can define the max and min.

I know how to define the axis manually. Thanks though!
