Need help with Table for (somewhat) complex Data.

    Hi guys,

This is my first post in a while and I've learned a lot just lurking here for a while. Thanks.

I've been struggling for the past 5 (!) days to figure out my problem. Perhaps it's simply because I lack the lingo to properly search for a solution to what I'm going after.

    Here goes.

I have a table that lists the sales data for a bunch of different software packages. There are columns with sales by territory. There are also columns that each have a different software feature. Each feature column has an "X" if the software package has that feature or not.

My goal is to try and look for correlations between features and sales.

I am trying to represent this in a pivot table but I can't seem to get what I want. Any suggestions?

Why is "GR" Column AM formatted as a percent? What differentiates it from Columns AN to AR?

GR is a percentage rating for critical acclaim. The other columns are sales data in thousands of units sold.

Yes I think that gets me closer to where I want to go. I'm basically looking for the average of sales in each category. If I understand this correctly then I could simply do a "CountIF" similar to the "SumIF" you did and divide them to get the average.

I was trying to figure out how to get to this directly in the PivotTable, but it's simpler if I break out the data first. Thanks!!!
