Question Print Selected Cells problem

I've had this problem with several documents.

If I select a range of cells then check "print selection" in the print dialog box, for some reason, I get a whole bunch of extraneous page breaks--even though there are hard page breaks within the range--which result in some printed pages only having two to six rows (this isn't a problem with page overflow as the hard page breaks are set correctly) and further, some of the rows I've selected do not print at all (usually about the last third).

This same thing happens if I set the entire document's print area to only the range of cells I previously selected.

The only way I can print the range of cells I want is to specify a range of pages to print in the print dialog box. Granted, this solves the problem of getting what I want printed out, but there seems to be an underlying issue for some reason, and it's driving me bonkers.

My document *does* have hidden columns, but the issue is with *rows* not getting printed, and there are no hidden rows.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is there some setting that could be producing this result? Is there a programming glitch somewhere?

This is the way it normally works; each range is printed on a separate page. I do not know of a way around it (other than copying and pasting each range together in a new spreadsheet).

But it's all one range. I'm trying to select and print cells B191 through S275 (with a few columns hidden). Basically, it's 5 continuous pages of a 19-page document. It begins and ends with hard page breaks, and the internal page breaks are set correctly so there shouldn't be any pages with just a few rows printed. After the second hard page break, excel is inserting a soft page break two rows later (this is just one example -- it happens at several locations, but always 2-6 lines *after* a hard page break). Why??? There is no difference between one line and the next in formatting or anything else -- just different information in the cells. Also, there is still the issue (more critical to my mind) that the last third of the selection is not printed AT ALL!

Did you check to see if your page size? maybe your it is too small for the range you have selected?
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

Yes, it has nothing to do with the page size. It's five contiguous pages of a document sized to fit on 8.5 x 11 landscape paper. And the printer didn't run out of paper either.
