    Sumifs with multipe criteria

    Hi,

I want to add up certain number depending on 2 things, 1. by variety (Empire, Cripsin, etc.) and 2. by (FP, MP, Juice). I can get it to add up seperately by "empires" and only by the "FP" but I need to to add up by "empire" AND that are for "FP".

The formula that I am usings is:

    =SUMIFS(E2:E8000, D2:D8000, "Empire")
=SUMIFS(E2:E8000, G2:G8000, "FP") I need this formula to add up empire that for for FP.

Right now the top one is fine for adding certain apple varieties but the bottom formula is all the same for every varieties because I don't know how to specify variety I want for FP.

you can combine both formulas into one

    SUMIFS(E2:E8000,D2:D8000,"Empire, G2:G8000,"FP")

this should give you the desired result.

    Re: Sumifs with multipe criteria

I have my varieties in column D and my FP, MP, Juice in column G

I it should come up with 70 for my total for empires that are going to Fresh Plant.

    Re: Sumifs with multipe criteria

There's a quote missing around Empire:

    =SUMIFS(E2:E8000,D2:D8000,"Empire", G2:G8000,"FP")

If the other 2 worked separately, then this too should work as long as Empire and FP are both in the same row(s).
Where there is a will there are many ways.
