Comparing values across sheets and returning another set of data based on comparison.

Hello,

This might seem easy for some but I'm having a hard time grasping how it should work. The situation is easy enough to explain.

Sheet1, Column A contains a master list of names.
Sheet2, Column B *might* contain some of the names in Sheet1, Column A.
Sheet2, Column E contains the qualifying event (if it's any help, it's about athletic events).

If one of the names in S1 Column A is in S2 Column B, then I want the name to appear in Column A of Sheet3 but I also want the respective event they were in to appear in Column B of Sheet 3.

Is there any way to make this possible? If ever, can it be done in a "drop down table" style (like a filter) so I can easily sort them by event? (It is imperative that the names are in Column A of Sheet 3, though).

If it's too much, can someone give me tips instead on which formulas/functions can give me this kind of comparison?
