    Conditional Formatting 2003

I am trying to modify a spread sheet that will be used to determine if a value entered is acceptable. What I am trying to accomplish is as follows:

If the material type (cell D3) = "SS/SS" and the type of weld is (cell E3) = "Hidden" then I would like to add a conditional format to cell F3.

For example if the value entered in cell F3 <650 then the color of the cell turns red. This is the simple part. Here is where I get lost. I want to add an or statement such that if cell D3 ="Galv/Galv" then the cell would not turn red if the value is above 500 thus overriding the first statement. Is this possible in 2003? I know that in 2007 there is a check box to stop searching other conditions if one is met.

    Re: Conditional Formatting 2003

Put this as the first Conditonal Format for F3 and tick the Stop if True box

=(D3="Galv/Galv") and format as a non red color

Where does the > 500 bit come in?

Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.
