    cell reference in advanced filtering

Can you use a cell reference in advanced filtering? I have a large list of people and I have it set up too filter out anyone who isn't in specific departments. I want it to filter so that I only see the people in specific departments who also have more than a specified amount of hours. I know I can set it so that one of the criteria is >x but x changes on a daily basis and I prefer to keep the sheet containing the criteria hidden to prevent any accidental changes. Is there a way I can set it up so that x refers to a specified cell on another sheet so when I change the hours it changes the criteria being filtered?

I want to replace the "7.2" on the criteria page with a reference to the yellow cell (Sheet1!D1) so that I can hide the criteria sheet and simply update the criteria by changing the value in the yellow cell.
