Hello,

I work for an Engineering company who recently merged with another Engineering Company. We both have fairly intensive excel programs on the order of 8 MB with about 25,000 calculations. Some involve VBA, some Macros, etc.

One worry we have as we merge the companies and create a new programming file is it may get too large. Some have heard of a 25,000 calculation limit before excel starts "crapping out" and items stop trickling through correctly, cells don't update and you have to hit ctrl-alt-shift-F9 (which recalculates the entire workbook).

Does anyone have any experience with this? Was this a problem with earlier versions? If it is a problem, is there anything we can do (other than cut back on calculations, which certainly will happen, but I don't think we will cut it back to under 25,000 without losing some of the output data that we use).

Thanks in advance for any input. Have a great day.
