Access query error in Excel 2007

    Hi all

I have built a basic select query that should refresh into Excel 2007. It works on my PC but my colleague is encountering an error message where the query is asking for a database password.

There is no password on the database and my colleague's ODBC settings and drive mapping all matches mine so I am stuck on what the issue may be.

Has anyone encountered this before and is it a problem with my query, the Excel file itself, or my colleague's PC settings? I am utterly at a loss!

    Thank you!

Yes i have encountered it, one work around seems to be adding the odbc driver for Microsoft Access again, dunno why it just works?
