    Linking worksheets

    Hi guys!

I really need your help with something.

I have linked data between different excel workbooks. Everything worked fine yesterday, but today when I opened the books, it says #REF in aaall of my cells that are linked to another workbook! I also got a security warning or something that links were disabled. And there was a button named "enable" that I clicked on. But nothing works.

There is just tooo much work to redo everything again and collect the values before deadline. I'm screwed...

Does anyone know if this problem is solveable? All help appreciated!
    Regards, Sabina

    Re: Linking worksheets

    Hi Sabina,

    Below are some tryouts:-
    1) Check if there are some changes in the file names
    2) Check if there are some folder sturcture / server change occured in the background over LAN.
    3) Check if your links are correct and all reference are appearing to be corrrect.

    Regards,

    Thank you Dilipandey!

That was absolutely what had happened! I had changed the name of the sheet that I was linking to. Now everything works and my work can continue! Thank you!

Tip to others with the same problem: Excel 2003 apparently can handle that you change the sheet name from which you are linking, this does not work in Excel 2010.
(One of my files was OK, and that one was saved as a 2003 workbook)

Have a nice day, everyone! And thanks again, Dilipandey.
