Sorting Data with a Dropdown Box

Background: I have a large database that can be sorted in ~40 different ways (by each of the 40 column headers).

Problem: Sorting this database by selecting the array, navigating to the toolbar, and selecting the sort options takes too long when presenting this data to coworkers.

Question: Is there a way to quickly sort an array of data without using the "Sort" option each time?

I would ideally like to create a dropdown box that could automatically sort the database by the selected criterion. This may not be realistic, however, and I am open to any suggestions. A reference sheet outlining my problem is attached. Thanks so much!
