i am using excel 2000
the alignment (chosen in format cell) of the cell to the right affects the alignment of the cell to the left visually. try it and let me know if you have any ideas on why this would be or how to fix it without just deleting the cell to the right.

I just deleted the other cell and that fixed it. I am interested to find out why it was doing that but doubt anyone here has a clue about it anyway or they probably would have posted the answer plus im tired of looking on this forum day after day after day with no answers while my thread keeps getting pushed further and further away from the front page with less and less chance of anyone seeing it. Im not sure why my posts keep getting deleted but all of this is typical of forum user knowledge, response, and behavior. So you can delete this thread since Im not going to look at it anymore but if anyone does actually know the answer and feel like answering the question email me antix990@yahoo.com
