    Plot area chart help

    Hi,

I have a chart in 2007 which along the x-axis goes from 1-13 (financial year 2011), then from 1-4 (this financial year.

What I wanted to do was have the plot area which covers 1-13 in one color, and 1-4 a different colour to highlight the different financial years.

    This is a line graph.

    Is this possible please?

    Thanks

you can use additional series plotted as columns to colour the plot area.
Format the column series to have Gap width of zero.

    Thanks mate that works perfectly.

the only problem I have now is that the legend part has 3 entries now, +1 for the fake columns.

Is there any way to get rid of this?

Manually select legend entry and delete it
