Hey all,

my boss threw me this assignment and I don't know how to do this =(

What I need is to automate this process: I have a data set on excel format and a word template. I need to generate reports based on some of the figures derived from the database (this can either be directly lifted from the database or through a form of analysis like averages etc.) But other than those figures, the rest of the word template remains the same.

Does anyone know how to do something like this? I just need an idea on where to go reading up at.
