    Double vlookup

    Good Day all,

I was wondering if you had any advice for me.

I am trying to generate sales targets for some of the stores my company operates.

I need to do a vlookup, to lookup the store name but also match that store name with the specific day and output the sales number.

I have included a VERY simplified version of what i am trying to achieve.

Any help/advice will be greatly appreciated

    Re: Double vlookup

    Hi,

    Can you clarify.
Your last years dates are all 2011 yet your formula is on the 2010 Actual Sales row. Is this a typo and you're trying to find the 2011 values in I6 and other row 6 cells?
Neither are there any February dates in column B so you won't find any anyway.

Notwithstanding if we assume the report is meant to be an October Report, put the month number 10 in H1 and use the following in I6 copied across

    =SUMPRODUCT(($B$2:$B$100=DATE(LEFT($F6,4)+1,$H$1,I5))*($A$2:$A$100=$G$1)*($C$2:$C$100))

    HTH
