    Hi Al,

    Your query is not clear enough.
    You have Excel 2007 version and here you have a date field.
    You save it in Excel 2003 format and converts back that date field to General format.
    Now you say "you need to save it as a 2003 version" which could mean that you need to save the file in Excel 2003 version but date field should remain in date format and should not be changeed to General format.

    Yes that is correct I need to save it to a 2003 version but when I save it and open it up again it returns to the general format and not the date format. What do I need to do when I save it to make sure it stays in the date format and does not open up to the general format when I open it up again.
