Long sentences inside the cells are completely visible but don't want that

    Hi Folks,
The long sentences inside my cells make the excel doc rows way too large. How do you take the rows or columns and make it so that the text inside the cells are only totally and completely visible when you scroll over it? I used to know but now forgot.

I do not want to totally hide the cell. Just make most of it hidden until I need it.

Thanks from the Counselor working on that Family Connections program.

If you manually change the column width to what you want, it should stay that way until you change it again. However, the only way you will be able to see the full contents is to select the cell, and read the contents in the "edit" bar at the top.

    Hope this helps
