Xls Formula

Hello

I have got an .xls document and the way I want to make it work is if I type some data into one cell then it automatically copies in to another cell so i dont have to re-type the information. For e.g. If I type the information in cell F5. I want that to be copied automatically into the same xls sheet so I used the formula "=IF(F5="","",F5)" which does work fine sorted.

However If I want that the same thing to happen into different tab then what formula should I use. For example if I type information into F5 in tab1 then I want to copy the same information into different tab "tab2" and same cell F5.

Then in Sheet2(F5), use this.

=IF(Sheet1!F5="";"";Sheet1!F5)

I'd suggest something like: "Replicate cell value in another sheet".

The simple solution to your question is, for example:

=IF(Sheet2!A1="","",Sheet2!A1)

However, just beware that this construct will start to fail if/when you start to add cells/rows/columns.

Sorted i have used this formula and it did worked

=IF('Delivery Note'!F7:G7="","",'Delivery Note'!F7:G7)

Go to the first post
Click edit
Click Go Advanced
Just below the word Title you will see a dropdown with the word No prefix.
Change to Solved
Click Save
