If selected date is within a month of current date, highlight the row

Hi, I have an excel spreadsheet that shows the details of CRB checks for staff / visitors to our school. I want the spreadsheet to look at the "Valid To" date and check to see if it is in one month of the current date, and if so highlight the row of the table.

    Is this possible?

    Thanks,

See attached, see Conditional Formatting. This formula will highlight any row where the Valid To date is earlier than one month in the future. This implies that dates in the past are also highlighted.

The phrase "within a month of the current date" can be interpreted in more than one way. I assumed you meant earlier than a month in the future, but you could also have meant :
    • From today until one month in the future
    • From one month in the past until today
    • From one month in the past until one month in the future
If I didn't get it right let me know what rule you want and it is very straightforward to change the logic.

Thanks for the quick response, the attachment you sent back looks good. The rule that I would like applying is "From today until one month in the future", if you could do that, that would be great.

    Thanks again

Update attached. Make sure you review the conditional formatting rule so you understand and can maintain it.

I have found that the association of attachments in posts in some cases seems to be corrupted since they did the "upgrade" of the forum. I deleted and reattached the file in my above post, give it a try.

Thanks for the update! Sorry for the delayed response - only just got round to this after the Xmas holidays.

    Thanks again!
