Question Excel wrongly combined numerous data into one cell

    PLEASE HELP!!!

I downloaded a sheet of customer data which is in excel format from my company website. It have over 1000+ lines of data. One problem I found on my download, on line 573, one of the cell contains numerous data which should contain only 1 numbers. The numerous data are data that should follow in the next dozon lines down. In other words, it auto combine multiple lines of data into one cell. Other colleagues of mine do not have this problem.

The Excel version I am using is Office 2003 with winXP same as my other colleagues. Thx

    Please help...

    Thank you so much

The file may be opened in excel, but it is probably a csv file is my initial thought. Is this the case?
