Need alphabatically matching dropdown like in search engine as in google

Is it possible to have dropdown list or any other thing which may work like showing alphabatically mathing values.
In general excel does not do when blank cell comes in between. I have a master list of customers. In which new addition done frequently.
I need that list to use in everyday dataentry jobs.
Sorry if i fails to convey what i want.
Pls suggest any help.

In first row add Data-> Filter. Then you can use sort or just filter users you want (and the list will be sorted alphabetically).

yes you are right.
But my prime requirement is selection from a list in a manner google search does. That means for words apple, america aplication,appolo, when i enter ap the dropdown shows available options i.e. Apple, aplication, & appolo but when enter app only apple & appolo get displayed.
I dont know this req. Formula or anything else.
What presently i am doing is pasting whole list above the entry cell & hide them, so inbuilt auto complete shows according to maching criteria, but when only uniq character comes.

Pls see in attached file in sheet 2, where i created drodown for country name. I have data for other columns in sh-2 which are dependent on sheet 2 'c5' means value from dropdown. Other columns having formulas depending on value of c5.
Now i simply need for c5 that i dont want to use scrolling & selecting country name 9by dropdown) but want to type country name in that in a way when i type u all names starting from u get displayed. Then by using down arrow i can select desired country from that list.

Maybe you looking for this:

In yellow cell enter some characters you want to filter with. Doesn't have to be at beggining (For example AL will return ALabama but alo mALta, senegAL etc). It can be made also to look only first leters...

After than, choose from drop down list under countries.
(I'vr used previous workbook but this is non-macro solution)
