    Auto fill Cells

    Hi all,

if you look at the attached sample, i need the account number in column a to appear in every cell below it until it hits the next new account number and then i need that account number to appear in every cell until the next and so on.

Apart from manually dragging it down each time ( not possible as there are thousands of accounts in original) i was hoping there is a quicker way.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Kind regards,

    Om.

    Highlight >> A1:A27
    F5 >> Special >> Blanks
Select the = sign and then up arrow once
    Select Ctrl + Enter

Now hightlight column A >> copy >> paste special values.
