Question Trying to use a payscale

Hello, I need some simple help. I will be plugging in the number of students that show up to a class into an excel sheet and I need the price to be paid to the instructor to be automatically calculated into another collum. The table is as follows: If 3 to 5 students show up the instructor is paid 26 If 6 to 7 students show up the instructor is paid 42 If 8 to 10 students show up the instructor is paid 52. I can’t remeber exactly how to do this and would appreciate your help, thank you.

    You could use a lookup...

    =LOOKUP(A1,{0,3,6,8},{0,26,42,52})

What about if it is more than 8 to 10 students?
    HTH
