Workable sheet with protection & hiding formula from others

Hi,
I know the process of hiding formula in excel & to protect the sheet. But I want to know how can I prepare a workable sheet with protection where only formula will not be seen by the others, otherwise all other calculation can be carried out normally. It is found as soon as I give a password to protect the sheet no calculation can be carried out in the sheet unless the protection is not removed which revels the formula to others as well. Please help

Why can't you protect the sheet having checked Hidden and unchecked Locked for all Cells ?
(enabling whichever properties you prefer)

IMO, however, it does not make a great deal of sense to leave the formula cells unlocked given these should not be changed.

Welcome to the forum.

What I would suggest you to unlock and unhide all the cells and protect and hide the formula cells only. After this, a user can work on the sheet but would not be able to see the formulas. See the attached workbook for better understanding. Thanks.
