Do not use pictures and pdf's. Its just as easy to attach a copy of the workbook itself with comments in textboxes explaining what you are trying to do: where the data comes from, what you are trying to do with it (calculations, if any) and where the results should go. No one is going to try to re-create a workbook based on pictures, sorry.
