Links not Updating Correctly

I recently converted from excel 2003 to excel 2010. I have a spreadsheet (well.xls) that has data linked to another spsht (pumping info.xls). I have converted both spshts to .xlsm. When I add three rows of data to pumping info.xlsm, the change is not captured when I open & update well.xlsm. For example, the data in cell A1 of well.xlsm is linked to the data in cell B5 of pumping info.xlsm. When I add three rows of additional data to pumping info.xlsm, the info that was in cell B5 is now in cell B8. I then save pumping info.xlsm, reopen well.xlsm, & update the links. However, the data in cell A1 of pumping info.xlsm continues to be linked to cell B5 of pumping info.xlsm, not cell B8. I don't recall this problem occuring when I was working exclusively in excel 2003.

Welcome to the forum and wishing you a great year ahead.

It would help the forum to find out the issue correctly if you post both of these files. I suspect there might be some freezing issue but not sure, would need to see the files before commenting any further.
