Conditional formatting formula to check expired\old dates

Hello everyone. I am trying to find out if there is a conditioning formatting to check dates in column A. If date is a year old than today’s date, than highlight it in red or in column B, place the word expired. Please see attachment for more details.Again, thank you very much for everyone’s help and time. Happy New Year!
