I am relatively new to excel and attempting to create a spreadsheet for work to track sales quarterly. The Database is broken down daily:A, with 9 products B:J. I am attempting to create a spreadsheet that tracks quarterly sales on a weekly basis... Date:a, with 9 products b:j. Where the date is the ending date of the week for that quarter. I am only tracking 1 quarter at a time and will have a formula built in to automatically adjust the dates based upon the current quarter.
Thus, to sum it up, I'm looking for a formula that uses a variable date:a to sum up data in a single column:B:J from the original database over a span of a week:A1:A7 (determined by that variable date) and displaying that total as a single number on the new spreadsheet (b:j). I have attempted SumIf Array functions for this and am unsure if I am doing it correctly or if that is even the correct method to use. Any and all help would be appreciated! Thank you!
