Lookup date in row > today

Dear all,

I am searching through several forums but did not find a satisfiyng answer to my probblem yet.
I cannot solve a part of an index function that is a as followed:

I am looking for a formula that search in a row with all kinds of dates. It must than give me the first date that is greater than today.
I already tried combining a hlookup with an if function but I get an error everytime.
Does somebody know an answer to this problem?
