Excel 2007 : Excel formula

I have a spreadsheet and in column B there is a number 1 - 12 which relates to the month of the year, column C contains either m or f relating to whether the person is male or female. I want a formula which will search in column B to see if there is a number 12 and if there is then count how many times the letter f appears in column C. I have tried using the =sumproduct but I don't seem to be having much look with it. Can anybody help?
