    Talking Set the Field in Mandatory

    Hello ,

    I want to create the one format. In the i want to set all fields mandatory in fill , if any one kept blank it sholud not save the file and also i set character length in the sheet .Kindly guide me to create my format.

    Hi Suresh,

    There are two options for this, either you apply data validations in sheet itself where it forces user to enter value else you can include macro codes to check if certain cells are filled in then only the worksheet will be saved. It will be better for the understanding of the forum if you can upload the sample file. Thanks.

    Thanks for your reply . I enclosed the excel sheet as per my request . Kindly set the fields are mandatory and text length.
