How to link cells in different places in multiple worksheets?

    Hello,

I am having trouble linking cells on multiple spreadsheets. Here is an example: Link cell D1 on Sheet1 to E1 on Sheet 2, cell D2 on sheet 1 to E11 on Sheet2, cell D3 on sheet1 to E22 on Sheet2..In essence, column D goes up by 1, and column E goes up by 11.

I need to do this for about 3,000 cells. I was wondering if anyone knows a formula that I could spread throughought the sheet to give this information quickly, rather than going in and doing this manually 3,000 times.

    Thanks,

On Sheet1 in cell D1, put this formula, then copy downward:

    =INDEX(Sheet2!$E:$E, (ROW(A1)-1)*11)
