Square footage to board feet conversion

The spreadsheet I have has 3 cells :

A1= Length(in ft)
B1= Width (in ft)

c1=A1XB1 (in square feet)

I need to Convert C1 to board feet.

Thickness of the board range from (1/2"- 1")

How to Icalculate on a spreadsheet?

You need a fourth cell (C1) for the thickness, then
BF=(width in inches x length in feet x thickness in inches)/12
So, D1: =(12*B1)*A1*C1
