Data Validation (Combining custom text and named range)

    Hi All,

Would be grateful if someone could help with the following issue or offer a workaround.

I basically require to create a data validation cell that references a defined name range. The complicated part is that I would also like to include a custom text item at the top/start of the list not included in the named range (I don't really want it included).

Is this possible? If not, has anybody come across this and found a workaround?

Thank you in advance for your help.

    Regards

    Stuart McKay

To have the named range be the source of a DV drop down list via a formulaic reference, it will have to be ONE concurrent range of values.
