    Macro for mapping

    hi i have some data in column A and col B to z

    i need a macro to mapp data in col A +col B past it in a separate sheet in ColA it is similar to concatenation like wise

    below is how i need the data to appear in a separate sheet

    Sheet 2 Col A Sheet 2 col b

    col A1 Col B1
    Col A1 Col C1

    once the above is colmpleted then it should move A2 and so on

    Your request is not very understandable. Post a sample workbook with a before and after sheet so we can clearly understand your requirement.

    thax for the code , it solved my prob , i had 70 rows so i changed the Resize to 70 and it worked but anyhow it is also copying blank values if it is in the length of 70 can it be ingnored say that 70 cells there will be some which are balnk so it should skip to nxt record

    Hi Louis.
    I did not understand whether you mean the blank cells in column 'A' or blank cells in the row to be copied from column "C" through the 70 cells into same line.

    Blank cells in column 'A' does not influence the result of the code. However, I added a condition for the code does not process if the cell in 'A' is empty.

    Other hand, if you do not want to copy the line if there is any blank cell, say in line 13, if 'L13' is blank, then the line 13 will not be copied, even if 'A13' has content. If this is the case then we need to adjust the code.

    Osvaldo thanks for the wonderful help it really solved my problem, the subject macro does the work likewise the result out this can it be remapped again to the same set as below

    from

    101 a
    101 b
    101 c
    101 d
    102 a
    102 b
    102 c
    102 d

    to
    col A B C D E
    101 a b c d
    102 a b c d

    i am asking this because i have certain data which needs to be the reverse of the macro you gave me

    Hi Louis.
    I assumed that:
    1. the active sheet has the data, begining in 'A2:B2'
    2. the data will be copied to Sheet2, begining in 'A2', and 'A1' holds header

    hi Osvaldo i have tried it but i am not getting the result, i have attached the file for which i would need the data as in sheet 2 from sheet 1,

    sheet 2 is the result which i require
