Hey,
I am trying to crunch some data with Excel 2007.
Problem: I cannot make the X-Axis on a Pivot Line Chart use a linear scale
Data collection:
Data was recorded by increasing the steps and measuring the X-Axis data and the Y-Axis data. After all the data was collected it is best to analyze it with the Axis as mentioned.
Pivot Table:
I used a pivot table as there are other columns of data obtained, it is is very easy to switch what data you are looking at.
Pivot Line Chart:
Both the X-Axis and Y-Axis data is continuous. When using a line chart I cannot make the X-Axis plot on a linear scale. It can only plot each discrete point. I like using the Pivot Table/Chart as it is a very efficient way to analyze data form multiple iterations.
Is it possible to make the X-Axis on a line chart use a linear scale?
Thanks!
