Weird problem with linked sheets

Hi,

I have two workbooks, one called ANM Budget, the other called ANM Stats. I need to include a stat in the budget so I have used this very basic formula in ANM Budget to link the cells:

='G:\Reporting\Daily Stats\[ANM stats.xls]Summary'!T$19

The link works fine when the stats workbook is open (it shows a number), but as soon as I close it, the linked cell changes to 0 - not an error - 0.

I have the same formula on other cells linking the same two workbooks - they have the same problem.

I have the same formula linking two other very similar spreadsheets which work fine regardless of whether the origin workbook is open or closed.

Any clues??
