Creating a Drop Down Menu

I am trying to create a food log with a drop down menu. I want to be able to click on the food item in the drop down menu and have the numbers for calories, fat, carbohydrates, and protein automatically fill in for me. I understand that I will have to put all the info in somewhere else before hand to create the list w/ the numbers, but not sure where to do this. Thanks in advance for the help!!!!
