Hi,
I was hoping someone could help me with a problem I am having. I'm using Excel 2010 and trying to run a what-if on 21 changing cells and 3 output cells for 9 scenarios - scenario manager. It works for one scenario but any more than that Excel crashes. I have tried on 2 different computers. Any ideas?

Welcome to the forum. I think we need a little more info. Any chance you could post a workbook with the same layout but with dummy data? Also, please include a few examples of expected output or the logic behind what you want to do.

After several (50) tries I have been able to get it to produce data, however it not producing the correct data as only the first scenario is producing changed data. The other 8 are just repeating an incorrect output.
Its for a university class so I will post the worksheet.
What I want to know is 3 things from each scenario - G32,33,34

When I click on Scenario Manager, it tells me no scenarios have been defined.
click over to the sheet 1 tab and then do it.
C26:C29 and D26:G26 don't change, but if this is an assignment, my inclination is that is by design (correct?). The others seem to change with each scenario. I'm sorry but I'm unable to see the issue. Perhaps you could add a table to the side showing what values you expect for the cells in question for a particular scenario? Honestly, though, it seems to be working just fine for me, so I don't know how to help you.
Yeah those cells are not supposed to change.
See how for every changed cell other than the first scenario the value is $24,392? That is my problem.
For example the third scenario "High sales growth, Slow change" should have values of $1,790,574, $4,886,846 and 0.
For the third scenario, that's exactly what I'm getting. The only thing I can think of is a setting you have in Excel that's different from mine, but I can't think of what that would be. Maybe one of the other gurus on here will know more about this. Sorry I can't be of more assistance.
Okay, thanks for you help. I'll try at school tomorrow and hopefully it will work there.
Sorry to bump my own thread but I changed a few formulas with still no sucess. Wondering if anyone else had any ideas?
