    Vlookup with duplicates

I have a sheet about 2500 rows. Column A contains product number and column E contains a single component in the make up of the product. Column A can contain the same value listed 5-10 times for all the components of a product. I need a formula to look up an item in Column A and display all of the components in Column E. Is this possible? I need it in a list so sorting by the product number does not help. Is there a vlookup to return multiple values because of duplicates?

    Hi,

A VLOOKUP() function can only return one value.
Check out the Data Filter functionality which will allow you to either filter the list in place using column A and seeing all the column E components, or use Data Filter Advanced where you would enter a product number in a criteria cell and have the Data Filter functionality extract all the relevant records for the criteria product number, to a separate list, either on the same sheet or a second sheet.
