    Maintain Workbook Links

    Hi all,

I've built two workbooks that are used to track quality in my office. The first is used for team members to record checks they have performed and the second is used as a reporting tool for the team leader to track if and when things are going wrong.

These work fine when running a demonstration from my own personal drive, however now I am moving these sheets onto the main server, the links in the reporting workbook are still referring to the original sheet on my C: drive. Is there an easy way to update the new file location?

The spreadsheet currently links to table data and dynamic named ranges in the data entry workbook. At the moment I'm looking at re-doing the reporting spreadsheet, however I'm going to have to do something similar for 17 separate teams, so a method of easily updating these links would be great.

    Thanks in advance as always

    Jon

    Hi Jon,

Just pick the Edit Links icon from the Connections menu tab and then select the Change Source option and pick the new file on the server.

No idea why I couldn't work that out for myself, but seriously can't thank you enough, you have officially made my day.
